As you fight your way through each mission, you’ll get the chance to unlock high value targets, which will pitch you into battle against an especially tough opponent and force you to test your skills. Some missions allow a direct action approach, meaning you can complete the mission in any way you’d like while others force you to use specific methods to succeed. Each mission has its own set of objectives, which can be completed in any order but which may require you to meet certain conditions for success. The game consists of more than 30 missions spread out over several different environments. With your chosen character, you must complete tactical missions and prove that you belong with the best of the best. These include the Commando, the Technician, the Infiltrator, and the Marksman. When you enter the game, you have the ability to choose from six different operatives, all of whom have their own unique skill sets and abilities. In Unit 13, you work with other operatives within the military elite to combat global terror networks. A demo version was made available for download off of the PlayStation Network, giving players a taste of the full PS Vita game.
Developed by Zipper Interactive and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, the game was released in early 2012. Fans of third-person shooters will find plenty of action in Unit 13 for the PlayStation Vita.If I can get this bloody thing working, I might actually like it. Netflix works well and I love the Twitter software. Still, the apps themselves have all been surprisingly good on the Vita. There’s no option to reconnect manually and refreshing it does nothing. It’s not bad, although my Vita went into sleep mode during a song, messed up the connection, and now it won’t reconnect at all, even after closing the application entirely. You can also download and store songs for offline play, which is a brand new feature for the service.
Unique to the Vita is a touch interface, allowing for easy navigation and playlist management. You can download it from the PlayStation Store’s app section. Sony’s music streaming service, Music Unlimited, has finally hit the PlayStation Vita.
